In addition to the culinary expedition in Tokyo, the Washoku Program offers seasonal field trips to Uji, near Kyoto city, for you to discover the world of fine Japanese green tea. You are welcome to enjoy with your family and friends an authentic selection of Japanese culture and lifestyle in Uji, the historical centre of Matcha green tea production.

April or November Trip | All about green tea

Highlights such as green tea tasting of various types, matcha-making, tea growing and tea production process, meeting the tea farmer and visit the oldest tea shop of Japan with a tea expert. Hand-made Matcha-Soba-Noodles for lunch.
